The DRSC is a place oriented above all towards Caminheiros / Companheiros / Aeronautas as they build the Homem Novo (New Man).
It is a Scout Centre of Excellence, a distinction awarded by the CNE to centres that meet certain requirements in terms of infrastructure and educational programmes.

With a strong environmental and spiritual focus, this centre is already a global reference and is part of the SCENES network - Scout Centres of Excellence for Nature and Environment.
Goose Network
A formal network whose aim is to improve quality in European Scout and Guide Centres.
The work involved in rebuilding and maintaining the facilities, and in ensuring a good stay for the Clãs carrying out activities there, justifies the need for a Management Team.
The mission of the Permanent Staff is essential to the operation of the DRSC, ensuring the reception and support of the Clãs, the maintenance of infrastructure and equipment, and assistance across the various EPICCAs.
