Rivers Programme

This programme, developed within the framework of SCENES, stems from an Iberian project of the same name, which in Portugal is coordinated by the Portuguese Association for Environmental Education (ASPEA) and encourages the adoption of 500-metre stretches of rivers or streams by organised local groups.

É uma oportunidade para explorar a vida de um rio através da observação das suas características gerais, do seu ecossistema aquático e de como essas características se podem alterar ao longo do percurso do rio, devido à presença e intervenção humana.
