Make the most of everything this small place has to offer and, throughout your journey, earn the Credencial do Caminho. More than a simple record, this credential will become your collection of invisible memories, those that only you will recognise when you look at the village map filled with colourful stamps. Each colour represents the mark you leave on the village and, above all, the mark you leave on your own path.
This personal, non-transferable document will accompany your journey in Drave and at the DRSC, starting as a simple piece of paper and becoming a true map of the Path of the New Man.
How it works is simple: as you take part in activities – programmes, projects, environmental missions, EPICCAs, moments of prayer, council fires, and guided visits – you earn stamps that fill your Credential. Once you collect 20 stamps, you will be rewarded with an exclusive DRSC insignia.
Why this name?
Cost: €5 (includes the credential and the insignia).
Who is it for?
The Trail Credential can be purchased by any clan member, even if they are still a novice or aspirant; it is not intended for adult leaders. The awarding of the insignia at the end of the Trail may only be done for invested Caminheiros/Companheiros/Aeronautas. The Trail Credential is individual and non-transferable.
Where?
Purchasing the Trail Credential, receiving stamps, and collecting the insignia will always take place in the village of Drave.
Duration?
The journey is individual. Different people will therefore have different Trails, completed over different timeframes; however, the Trail must be completed while you are still a Caminheiro/Companheiro/Aeronauta—i.e., during the 4 years you are in the 4th Section.
The available activities—and the number of stamps each activity is worth—will be reviewed regularly, so if you have a Trail Credential we recommend you check this section of the website from time to time. In Drave, in the stamp box, there will always be the most up-to-date version of the list of activities / stamps / colours.
To earn the Drave insignia you must have and complete the Trail Credential, a kind of passport where you will record your journey in Drave.
The Trail Credential has 20 spaces to be filled with stamps, which you can earn by carrying out activities at the DRSC—some mandatory, others optional. Activities are divided into 4 different areas and can be worth 1, 2, or 3 stamps.
Any Clã member can purchase it, even if still a novice or aspirant; it is not intended for adult leaders.
Only invested Caminheiros/Companheiros/Aeronautas can be awarded the insignia at the end. The credential is individual and non-transferable.
It is always purchased in Drave; cost is €5.00.
As you take part in activities—programmes, projects, environmental missions, EPICCAs, moments of prayer, council fires, and guided visits—you earn stamps that fill your credential; repeating stamps is not allowed.
There are 20 spaces. Activities are split into 4 areas and may be worth 1, 2, or 3 stamps: EPICCAs give 3 stamps, programmes 2, and other activities 1.
You only receive the EPICCA stamp, because it is assumed everything is included within the EPICCA.
You may only stamp programmes/EPICCAs that are being carried out that weekend by those present. Anything related to stamps for activities done previously must be requested by email before going to the village, so the staff can be informed and authorisation given.
