The ground floor was once the donkey’s stable, for the animal that carried grain from the granary to the mill and flour back to the village; today it is the Permanent Staff Kitchen. The upper floor was once the hayloft for “Palheiro da Palha Painça” (millet straw) and is now the Permanent Staff House.
