The Leira do Eucalipto, once farmland, is now our largest camping area. Its distinctive features include a firepit area, ideal for wilderness cooking and council fires; a bridge that allows you to cross the Bouça and Ribeirinha streams (which meet there and then flow on to join the Palhais stream); a stairway that blends seamlessly into the stone wall and provides access to the upper level; and the eucalyptus root system that gives the Leira its name.
